Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.  Proverbs 22:6

HUMC Kids is committed to provide a loving, Christian environment where each child may grow in their knowledge of our Lord and Savior.

Worship services are held on Sunday mornings at 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. at our Belinda Drive campus. A special Children’s Moments is given during these services, followed by children’s church for ages 3 through Kindergarten. Children play an integral part in our worship services. They lead in worship as praise teams and soloists on a regular basis and serve as acolytes in all three services. Acolytes and cross-bearers are used in our Sunday morning worship services as we prepare our hearts for worship. An acolyte training class for third graders is offered each spring during the Sunday school hour.

Infant and toddler nurseries are available at our Belinda Drive Campus during the 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. worship services and during the Sunday School hour. Pagers are available for your convenience.

Sunday School

Sunday school classes for children are available for all ages, beginning at age two. All are actively engaged in the learning process as dedicated teachers share the lesson in creative ways. Sunday school begins at 9:45 a.m. and ends at 10:45 a.m. at our Belinda Drive Campus and a toddler class is offered at our Andrew Jackson Campus. We also provide a Sunday school drop off classroom for those attending worship at the Andrew Jackson location. Beginning at 9:30 a.m., parents may drop off their child at the Belinda Drive location and then travel to the Andrew Jackson location for worship. Children will then be escorted to their respective classes for the Sunday school hour.
