The music ministries involve people of all ages – singing, ringing or playing instruments.
Activities for children and youth include: Children’s choirs and Crossfire Chimers. Numerous opportunities for children to lead in worship are provided. Our 3 and 4 year olds (Joyful Sounds) have their music time on Wednesday evenings and is incorporated into activities beginning at 6:30 p.m. Kindergarten through Grade 5 (Praise Pals) meet each Wednesday evening from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the HUMC Sanctuary. Special rehearsals are held often when there is a need.
Activities for adults involve: Chancel Choir (mixed), Sound of Heaven (women), Men of Praise (men), Celebration Choir (mixed), instrumental ensembles and Carillon Bell Choir. Many of the adults are also soloists in the various services.
