It’s not too late to register for Fall HUM School!

HUM School is our weekday Parent’s Day Out and Preschool Ministry for young children 12 months to five years. Hours are 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Ones, Toddlers, and Twos may attend one or two days per week. Three and Four-year-olds may attend T/TH or MWF.

Current Openings:

• One and two day openings in Toddlers’ (Birthday between Oct. 1, 2009 and March 31, 2010)
• Threes (birthday between October 1, 2007 and September 30, 2008) on MWF and T/TH
• Fours (birthday between October 1, 2006, and Sept 1, 2007) on T/TH

HUM School begins on Friday, August 5, 2011. Open House for registered children and their families is on Thursday, August 4, 2011.

HUM School for Little People

The Pre-school and Parent’s Day-Out Program is an extension of Hermitage United Methodist Church’s ministry to its members and to the community.

Purpose: The HUM School program reflects the church’s concern for growing childen and their families.  HUM School will endeavor to provide an educational program designed to meet the developmental needs to the child.  It shall strive to provide the highest quality education and child care, emphasizing growth in all areas – physical, emotional, mental, and spritual, in a loving Christian environment.

Schedule: HUM School is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.  Please bring your child no earlier than 8:55 a.m. and pick him/her up no later than 2:00 p.m.  The time the staff has before and after school is spent planning and preparing for the coming day.  We need this time to do a good job helping your children grow and develop.

HUM School follows a modified calendar.  There is an equal number of each of the days of the week (Monday through Friday) in the calendar.  Parents will receive a school year calendar with the registration packet.  Parents will also receive a HUM School calendar/newsletter near the first day of school each month.

HUM School offers a Parents’s Day-Out program for children from the age of twelve months through two years.  Children may attend this program for one or two days a week.  Our pre-school program is for children who are three years through five years of age.  Children may attend this program on Monday, Wednesday and Friday or on Tuesday and Thursday.

Who may attend?

Parent’s Day Out: Children who are 12 months (by September 30) to two years of age may attend the
Parents Day Out Program for one or two days per week.

Preschool:

Hours: 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM

Monthly Tuition: Based on number of days the child is enrolled per week.

One day is $62 per month, Plus $30 Supply Fee per Year

Two days is $124 per month, Plus $60 Supply Fee per Year

Three days is $186 per month, Plus $90 Supply Fee per Year
