Hermitage English Learning Program,
that is!

This is a new ministry supported through the HUMC Love and Justice Committee. The mission of this ministry is: Expand God’s kingdom by helping our non-English speaking neighbors learn to speak, read, and write in English so that they can participate more fully with their families, with the community, and to the glory of God.

We need volunteers with many different gifts and talents. As you can imagine, we need volunteers gifted in the area of teaching, but we also need people to serve as greeters, childcare helpers, provide hospitality, etc. Basically, there are several areas in which you can help.
