Congregational Care Offers Transportation Assistance

The HUMC Van Transportation Ministry is a fairly new service provided to our members.   Transportation is provided to those who need assistance in getting to Sunday worship services, Wednesday evening dinner and class options, and doctor appointments. Greg Selah is the driver, and schedules these transports. For more information and scheduling (must be requested at least four days in advance), please contact Greg at 587-5647.

This van transportation ministry is also available to take volunteers to Project C.U.R.E. on the second Saturday of every month. If you would like to join others in this volunteer effort, and would like to ride in the church van, please be at the Belinda Drive facility by 8:00 a.m.  We will leave Project C.U.R.E. between 11:00 a.m. and Noon to return to HUMC.

Walk to Emmaus

The Walk to Emmaus is a spiritual renewal program intended to strengthen the local church through the development of Christian disciples and leaders. The program's approach seriously considers the
model of Christ's servanthood and encourages Christ's disciples to act in ways appropriate to being "a servant of all."

If you would like more information about the Walk to Emmaus or if you have questions, please talk with Pastor Allen Black or Paul Henrie at 883-3918 or check out the website: nashvilleemmaus.org.
