Stephen Ministry

There are times when every one of us experiences difficulties due to: loss of a loved one, spiritual crisis, cancer, hospitalization, dis-ability, job loss, divorce, loneliness, or "life hap-pening." God never intended for us to go through these experiences alone. That’s why God has brought us together as a congregation and why we have Stephen Ministry. If you are experiencing a tough time and would like to have a Stephen Minister meet with you weekly for conversation, a "shoulder to cry on", and prayer, please contact one of these Stephen Leaders: Marjorie Black at 885-9795 or Tammy Ramsey at 773-7847.

Matthew 11: 28 says, "Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy bur-dens, and I will give you rest." Stephen Minis-ters are available to help you bear this burden. There is no need to suffer alone.

Walk to Emmaus

The Walk to Emmaus is a spiritual renewal program intended to strengthen the local church through the development of Christian disciples and leaders. The program's approach seriously considers the
model of Christ's servanthood and encourages Christ's disciples to act in ways appropriate to being "a servant of all."

If you would like more information about the Walk to Emmaus or if you have questions, please talk with Pastor Allen Black or Paul Henrie at 883-3918 or check out the website: nashvilleemmaus.org.
