Mrs. Johnnie and her husband, Ken were high school sweethearts, having met at Donelson High School.  As in Carolyn’s case, Johnnie will also be on vacation when this is published.  She and Ken are traveling to Pryor, Oklahoma for their daughter-in-law’s graduation.  Katy, who is married to their son, Kenny, will receive a master’s degree in social work.  Kenny is a sports editor with the Daily Times.  They have another son, Gary, who lives in Nashville.  He works in the insurance field and has a law degree.

Johnnie has worked with HUM School since July of 1998.  Prior to taking this position, she worked at Lakewood Baptist Church, where she taught infants, three and four year olds.

When Johnnie isn’t spending time with her family, she likes to watch movies.  One stipulation for her to enjoy a movie is for it to be HAPPY!  This is not surprising because she always looks happy, and has a sweet smile on her face.  She and Ken have started a new hobby – renovating homes.  They have just purchased one that they will work on in their spare time.  She is looking forward to this adventure.
