Brad Stephens
Facilities Manager
Brad joined the HUMC staff five years ago. His primary responsibilities are to oversee and manage the buildings and properties owned by HUMC, and supervise the custodial staff, but also helps with computer technology and in many other areas. “Brad is truly a jack of all trades. His experience and willingness to help where needed, strengthens the overall ministries of HUMC,” said Joey Parker, HUMC Business Administrator.
Brad and his wife, Judy have been married for 18 years. They have five children and six grandchildren (and another on the way!). He was born in Marion, Illinois. He attended Judson College and has a Masters Degree in Psychology from MTSU. He has three books and several articles that have been published. His books are: “Do Justice, Love Mercy,” “Choosing Sophia,” and “Catcher in the Wry.” His latest book, “Just Business” is in the process of publication. Look for his books on Amazon.com.
Brad was the guest speaker at the Fellowship of Mere Christianity Convention in Brownsville, Texas last year. The conference will come to Brad’s home church this year, Immanual Baptist Church in Portland, Tennessee, where he is the pastor. Immanuel is celebrating their 100th year in 2011. In his spare time, he likes to fish, play the guitar.
